DEREK SEPE
M.P.S.E
Production Sound Mixer
Sound Designer, & Re-recording Mixer

ABOUT
I'm Derek, but friends call me Sepe (SE-pee).
I am a filmmaker trained in the art of production sound mixing, dialogue editing, ADR & Foley, sound editorial, & re-recording mixing. Basically sound design from soup to nuts! Originally from Seattle, Washington, I'm an alum of USC's School of Cinematic Arts with an MFA in Film & TV Production.
My company, aptly named Puget Sound Design (a nod to my Pacific Northwest roots), is a boutique one-stop-shop studio delivering major motion picture quality sound in film, TV, and digital content.
I use my passion for sonic storytelling to breathe life into unique and impactful stories. My work has been fortunate to play across the country including major festivals, streaming platforms and theatrical releases.
I work wherever the job takes me and am a member of IATSE Local 492, Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE), Cinema Audio Society (CAS), and Audio Engineering Society (AES).
